The Kennebunk Light & Power District in Kennebunk, Maine is seeking a second or first class line worker to join its staff.
The District is a not-for-profit, community owned, public power electric distribution company located in southern Maine. First founded in 1893, the District prides itself on its commitment to our community, our employees and our longevity. This opening is due to the retirement of a staff member who has been with us for 26 years. As a line worker with KLPD you will be responsible for maintenance of our 7200/12470 primary overhead and underground system as well as secondary installations. We do all of our own construction. We have two substations, one connected at 35 kV and the other at 115 kV. We serve around 6000 year round customers in a wonderful coastal community.
