Line Worker – Journey Level - $36.77/hr -

Located in the spectacular beauty of Southeast Alaska, the Journey Line worker is responsible for installing and maintaining overhead and underground electric and substations lines, and performing related work as required. Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school or possession of a GED, completion of a four year apprenticeship program involving 8,000 hours, possession of a commercial driver's license issued by the State of Alaska, possession of an Alaska State Certificate of Fitness as a Journeyman Line Worker. Must be able to climb poles, work long hours as weather conditions dictate, subject to 24-hour call-out.
